LA Times presents:
"Sustainability: The Media and The Message"
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Join SBC for a provocative panel discussion on Sustainability and Media.

Effectively communicating Sustainability through the media is critical to shifting our economy and our values from one that is carbon-based to one that is green and sustainable. The media controls the message. But how effectively is the message being communicated? And how are the media influencing our decisions and values as consumers and citizens?

We'll meet a panel of media professionals from film, TV, internet and print to discuss the many ways the media is messaging sustainability at their respective companies. We'll discuss the pros and cons behind green messaging, and take a probing look at how media professionals can successfully communicate this new media and economic paradigm to their audiences.

Moderator and Panelists to be announced next week. Stay tuned!
