Development assistance with Jorge Calderon for Urban Jelly, a pilot program under SpringWorks setting up an entrepreneurial business for inner city high school students in San Francisco. Giving students the opportunity to design, manage, market, and sell a "franchise" to increase graduation rates, higher education enrollment, and most importantly teach the basics of entrepreneurial business management through self-empowerment.

Research associate with John Weiss for BOOM Parade, researching fiscal sponsors to assist with funding initiatives for the educational arts event in a low-income community.

Red Victorian Peaceful World Foundation

The Red Victorian Peace Center and b&b is a living landmark teaching the importance of peace through conversations among strangers. Incorporating an art gallery of the art by the founder and in-house artist, a cafe, an event center, and an 18 room bed and breakfast, the establishment hopes to educate tourists on the importance of the Summer of Love in San Francisco and of peace today.

The Hub is an innovative community working space providing social entrepreneurs the resources and support they need to flourish with their respective ventures. The goal is simple – help individuals and enterprises reach their goals faster, surrounded by a community that makes everyone smarter and more effective.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Increase membership through relationship building and in-person presentation.
Linking members together based on their needs and interests to develop their business.
CRM management using Salesforce, Formstack, mailchimp.
Tours and presentations about the space, its benefits, and how it would suit the prospective member.
Innovative project facilitation with supervisor, Hub members, and other hosts.
Event set-up and volunteer coordination for meetings, business launches, and conferences.
Heavy scheduling, space maintenance, and organization.

Nomadic Researcher

Independent Backpacking and Traveling

Traveled independently from Belize down through all of Central America, into the northern parts of South America and finished in Santiago Chile. I backpacked, hitch hiked, farmed, coordinated volunteers, assistant managed a hostel, opened a pizza restaurant, lived in rural communities, learned the multicultural traditions of an array of populations, and blogged through:
